Steve Wilson
Life Insurance Agent
Steve graduated in 2001 with an Honours Degree in Economics from Laurentian University. Upon graduating, he began a career in Sales with Omega Public Works, while also helping the Owner of the company to develop a business plan to launch a new company.
Steve’s work didn’t go unnoticed and in 2003 he was offered the role of National Sales Manager for a company named Cuno Inc. Cuno was purchased by 3M in 2005 and Steve was responsible for all water treatment sales in his first 2 years, before being given the responsibility of growing the commercial and residential air filtration line.
Steve was working with a Financial Advisor at the time who not only wanted him as a client but also as a work colleague. He showed Steve how much of an impact Financial Advisors can have on the lives of their clients. Seeing the impact firsthand led Steve to a career as an Advisor. He looks forward to educating clients on how much he can help them now and, in the future, no matter what life throws at them. Steve has had roles as a Business Development Partner as well as Managing Sun Life Financial in Sarnia/Chatham/London and Stratford.
Experience has taught him that not all Financial Advisors are the same, the same way that not all Financial Plans are the same. That is why it is important for clients to work with someone that not only understands their needs and wants, but someone that they like and trust.
